back home...
Tonight, I got back home from a week at my sister's house. I had a nice, relaxing week. I got a ride up with Trudy on Sunday evening. She had gone to New Hampshire to visit a friend of hers who lost her son the week before. It's a very sad story and I won't get into it due to privacy and respect.
Sonia drove me home, well, I drove home and she held Simba most of the trip. She wanted to bring him down to my apartment so her hubby wouldn't have to take care of him by himself overnight...(gimmeabreak!) Anywho, the weather was crisp and mild for the drive. I wish it would get lighter soon, it's 4:30 in the afternoon and pitch-dark outside! I hate daylight savings time.
I must say, it was nice to get back home. I can't believe I'm saying that after being so lonesome for months when I first moved but I guess this is home now. We filled up her car with gas, which is down to $3.08 a gallon! Whoopee-Huh? damn, they need to get those prices way down so people can survive. It's getting harder all the time for people to make ends meet. Oh well, it's time for some changes in the government.
P.S. I got this in the mail today! I won it on ebay and I love, love, love it! It's ivory colored and of course, it's Coach. Isn't it sa-weet???!
