Monday

Today, I have to work at 4pm 'til 9. I'll miss my job when I leave in May. I have to fly to Massachusetts for two weeks of training, then back to where I'll be working for OJT for a week. I think it will be quite interesting. I just hope that I don't blow it in training and not pass. I'll take my laptop with me for the training so I can keep updating. Yipee...

Packing

Well, since I accepted the job offer, I've been sorting and packing stuff and I wish I could have it all done for me. Just call someone and have them come in a pack everything and take it all to storage. That's what I'm going to have to do with all my belongings, until I can find a big apartment. I wish I could just buy a house, but that's down the road. I'm just happy I can make this change. I've wanted out of this town for so long!!

Job Offer

Today I received a call from TSA with a job offer in Bangor. I thought the offer was for my area but it turns out it's for Bangor International. I go to training in Massachusetts in May for two weeks and then to work. I'm really excited about it. I'm a little afraid too, it's a long way from my family, but I'm sure they'll visit often. It's only three hours away and they love to get away from time to time. I have to go look for an apartment soon that will allow having a cat. A lot of the apartments that I've seen in the paper include on-site laundry facilities. I'm sure I'll find what I need.
